Product information
All the fabrics used for my products are my own designs, and all copyright is my own. Fabrics are all natural and printed in the UK with environmentally-friendly inks, and all products are made either by myself or by small independent manufacturers in the UK. I use ethically sourced cotton wherever possible.
Processing time
Processing depends on the type of product, e.g. tea towels, coin purses and cushion covers will be shipped right away. Anything made to order, e.g. lampshades, can take up to a week to turn around, and hand painted items up to 3 weeks. Fabrics by the meter are ordered in on demand and can take 2-3 weeks to process.
If for any reason I am unable to fulfill an order within the time frames stipulated on the item information, I will let you know straight away and you will always have the option to cancel your order if you prefer to do so.
Items will be processed and shipped when I have received a notification of the payment being successfully made.
International orders
Lampshades
Lampshades sent abroad will be sent ‘signed and tracked’ and is included in the P&P. Please see below for size restrictions.
Size restrictions on specific items
Due to postal sizing restriction I am not I am not able to send lampshades larger than 30cm diameter or cushions with inners, only the covers itself. Please do always feel free to ask for a shipping quote however, which I will source and can set up a custom order for you.
Customs or import duty fees
Please note that sending items to countries outside the UK, customs fees or import duties may apply. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay these fees.
Shipping
Lampshades
Great care is taken to package lampshades carefully in bubble wrap, in a double walled box for added strength. Lampshades are sent by courier, which takes 3-5 days to deliver from dispatch. I will send a tracking number once it has been dispatched, so please keep an eye on your e-mail address you have provided as part of your order (also check your junk mail box in case the mail ends up in there).
International orders are sent by Royal Mail and take 5-10 days depending on where you are. Please note that lampshades above 30cm diameter cannot be sent outside the UK due to size restrictions but I will be happy to supply you with a shipping quote for larger sizes and set up a custom order.
Custom orders will be dispatched as agreed between parties, within an agreed turnaround time.
Smaller ‘soft’ items
Cushions (without pads) and smaller items are sent by Royal Mail Standard delivery, which should arrive within a few days within the Uk and Europe, and 5-10 days internationally. Cushions with inner pads will be sent by courier taking 3-5 days, and the price quoted is to cover the cushion inner and the additional shipping for a larger item. Please note covers with inners can only be sent within the UK, only covers will be sent everywhere else.
Where delivery is different to the above due to factors such as size, I will let you know in advance.
Art prints
All prints are sent by Royal Mail First Class post. Smaller art prints (A4 size) are sent in a Do not Bend rigid envelope. Larger prints are sent rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube. Limited edition prints come with a certificate of authenticity and will be sent insured.
Mugs
Mugs are sent by Royal Mail Second Class post in a postal box and will be wrapped in lots of protective wrap.
Fabric
Shipping prices have been set up for delivering fabric by the metre. Sample prices have therefore been reduced to swallow the higher postage price.
Refund policy
Returning items
I would love you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied for whatever reason, please let me know straight away via my website contact page, and return the item within 14 days of receipt to the address at the bottom of this page.
Please note that the buyer will be responsible for return delivery fees and we recommend sending it with a tracked service.
Only items that arrive in the same condition that it was sent will qualify for a refund. Using a tracked and insured service is recommended in case something does go wrong in transit, in which case the delivery service insurance will cover the Buyer’s costs.
Before returning an item, please let me know an estimated delivery date via my website contact page.
Missing items
If an order does not arrive with the Buyer within 20 days of sending within the UK, I will investigate with the delivery service and respond accordingly.
Damaged items
In an item arrives damaged or is somehow unsatisfactory, please get in touch within 14 days of delivery, with photos of the damage (both product and packaging). I will investigate damage with the delivery company once photos have been received and get back in touch.
Colour variations
Please note that the colour of a product may vary between computer or tablet screens, and any slight variation in colour is not considered to make the item damaged or faulty.
Custom orders
Please note that custom orders are not returnable. If an item arrives damaged, please follow the instructions above.
