Bring fresh seaside colours into your home with my African-inspired fish design on a handmade ceiling lampshade. I spent a lot of my childhood in Cape Town at the seaside, marveling at the amazing colours of the fish swimming by. The African patterned fish are boldly contrasted against the deep teal background and the geometric shapes glow beautifully when lit.
The shade will appeal to adults who love the sea and in touch with their playful side – it looks great in a seaside house – but is equally suitable for a kid’s room.
The fitting is at the top to use as a hanging shade – note it will not work as a stand lampshade as the design will be upside down due to the fitting position.
I have only one of these left at 35cm diameter and 25cm high (14″ x 10″)!
