This colourful guineafowl handmade cushion cover is inspired by my years in South Africa and features one of my favourite silly birds. I love guinea fowl with their silly antics, racing across open spaces, frantic clucking, and surprising beauty – always guaranteed to raise a smile from me, if not a full-on laugh!
The guinea fowl in this design is hand drawn and the patterning is an actual guinea fowl feather that I scanned in for a bit of African authenticity. The colours are inspired by a retro 50s palette with a few brighter pops to add to the fun feel.
This cushion will thrill fans of guinea fowl and other silly birds.
