Description

This colourful guinea fowl handmade stand lampshade features my March of the Guinea Fowl design with one of my favourite silly birds. I love their energetic antics, racing across open spaces, frantic clucking, and surprising beauty – always guaranteed to raise a smile from me, if not a full-on laugh! I’ve shared many a happy moment in South Africa, enjoying the madcap adventures of these quirky birds.

The guinea fowl in this design is hand drawn and the patterning is an actual guinea fowl feather that I scanned in for a bit of African authenticity. The colours are inspired by a retro 50s palette with a few brighter pops to add to the fun feel.

This lampshade will brighten up a guinea fowl fan’s life, and looks equally cute in a kid’s room.
